Running for peace in South Sudan

Former students and current co-workers, an American Jesuit, the Director's sister and other supporters... seasoned distance runners and endurance competitors plus several first-timers... all ages, spanning 18 to 50... in all, fourteen brave, committed and hard-training people who, together, make up this year's London Marathon Team JM. You can meet and find out how to support them here.

This year, they will be raising money especially to support young people struggling to survive in South Sudan, one of the world's most volatile regions. Jill Drzewiecki, International Campaign and Philanthropy Officer at the Jesuit Refugee Service, shares a poignant reflection on a conflict that is having a devastating impact on children.

And yes, as always, there will be at least one Womble!
